[Repair/Tutorial] Fan lubrication tutorial. Repairing a rattling horizontal fan

03:55
Hello everyone and welcome to The Order. I turned on my PC today and it began to rattle. I was surprised to hear such a noise because I did a full rebuild of this PC 20 days ago. I immediately noticed that the noise is coming from one of my fans, because due to its downward facing stator had leaked all of it's lubricant out. In this video I'll re-lubricate this fan with a more dense solution, and show you how to proceed if you run into this problem. If you have any questions feel free to send them in !!! [Repair tutorial]ASUS ATI/AMD HD4850 PCB reapair/capacitor replacement.

08:29
Hello everyone and welcome to the Order. Something weird happened to my PC yesterday. I was playing StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void and my computer began restarting. I performed a diagnostic and I found out that there was a problem with my ASUS HD4850 GPU. Upon further inspection I saw that one of the capacitors on the board was damaged. Luckily I had a second non-working HD4850 with the same PCB which I used for spare parts. Fortunately the repair was a success because currently I cant afford to buy a new GPU. This video is going to be something like a quick repair tutorial of my graphics card. I hope It helps anyone who encounters a similar problem. CAUTION !!! Check the polarity of your components !!! There are two types of capacitors. Type 1: If you look at the beginning of the video you will see that the capacitors have a red line on them, these are the so called polarized capacitors; a.k.a. capacitors which can be mounted only in a specific orientation. The lead(leg) beneath this line(it can be any color) is the negative one, and the other lead is the positive. There is also another way to determine capacitor polarity. Usually band new caps have different lead lengths. The longer lead is the positive one and the shorter one is the negative. Type two: There is also a second type of capacitor which is called a non-polarized capacitor in other words its orientation doesn't matter, you can mount it either way. The holes(pads) however are a bit more difficult to understand. Generally the square hole(pad) is for the positive lead and the round hole is for the negative lead. But I have also seen cases in which the polarity is the other way around. Because I have been working with electronics for the last 15 years I can determine the polarity by analyzing the board or by measuring it with my equipment. If you are not a trained professional then I would recommend that you take snapshots of the board before making the repair so that you can see the proper orientation of the components. I am not responsible for any damaged devices. ;) If you have any questions feel free to send them in. Like, Comment and Subscribe for more tech videos! [Analysis] Is APU/iGPU gaming worth it ?

07:27
Hello everyone and welcome to The Order. Today I'll be making a performance analysis on APU or iGPU based gaming systems. So what is an iGPU based system? Well it's basically a PC that uses an integrated graphics card instead of a discrete one. Currently a lot of Intel and AMD processors come with and integrated graphics core inside of the CPU and a lot of people are wondering if those cores powerful enough for gaming ? I get this question frequently. Should I build an APU based gaminig rig and is iGPU gaming worth it? The short answer is no and you will see why so let's begin. Links ot the components: APU build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/VrFqf7 ATTENTION! It is highly recommended that you use dual channel memory in APU based systems in order for the iGPUs to take advantage of the extra bandwidth. Also APUs don't have their own memory so the use some of the system's memory as VRAM. So the faster the memory, the better the graphics performance. In the video, the Kingston Savage RAM that I listed is a 2x4GB DDR-2400 kit. dGPU build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/MbxR7P Please note that there may be some slight price deviations due to price shifts. [Hardware] Custom DIY ASUS HD4850 cooling upgrade

Hello everyone and welcome to the Order, today I'll be modifying the cooling solution on my ASUS HD 4850. Previously I used a custom dual fan cooler for this card but now I am switching over to a single fan cooler. [TUTORIAL] Common mistakes when building a budget gaming PC

09:43
Hello everyone and welcome to The Order. Today, I will be making an in depth revision of the common mistakes made when building a budget gaming PC. We will go through all of the components, comment on balance issues and determine which compromises are acceptable. If the sound is too silent, here is a version with boosted sound: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VUaWX3U7RsA AFTER watching the video read the text bellow: Users asked that I include more examples, I will explain why I didn't do that. I wanted to make this a general purpose tutorial which can be used in any point in time. That is why I said that the part examples I have given will become obsolete, but the general principles will remain the same. I used the examples in order for the users to grasp the concept of the mistakes and the principles and to make analogies when the part examples become obsolete and new parts come out. If I made another tutorial called "Tips and specific part examples when building a budget gaming rig" where I give a detailed list of examples for every specific component then the tutorial will become obsolete really quickly because there are new parts coming out almost "every day". That is why I and other PC builders make rigs for specific moments in time (e.g. my GTA 5 build). When a build is posted the builder can not determine the time frame in which the build will be an adequate recommendation for the price, because of the constant release of new parts and shifting prices. BUILDBUSTERS Episode 1: Busting THE WORST PC builds on YouTube

09:16
Hello everyone and welcome to The Order. And welcome to my new series called Buildbusters. In the past I made a rant, covering topic of commercial PC builders on YouTube. Despite the important topics covered in the rant, it didn’t get a lot of feedback, so I decided to change the format to something more appealing to the audience. The purpose of this series is to help users avoid making bad purchases, to constructively criticize builders who recommend rip-off builds and to offer adequate alternatives. On this episode I will be covering 3 not so gaming rigs for 350$ each by a user who I will call the Mech of Sorrow. 450$ GTA 5 (Grand Theft Auto V) READY Gaming PC Rig [July 2014]

06:50
Parts List: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/zmByt6 *Note the graphics card has been changed with the same model from a different manufacturer. Rockstar Games have confirmed that they will be releasing Grand Theft Auto 5 for the PC at the end of the year, so today we are going to build a 450$ GTA 5 ready PC! From my research these are the predicted recommended system requirements for Grand Theft Auto 5: CPU: Intel Core i3 2130 / AMD Phenom II x4 965 GPU: AMD Radeon HD6950 / Nvidia GTX 570 RAM: 4-6GB Please note that these are unofficial recommended system requirements not the minimum ones. For reference, the Athlon x4 750K is equivalent to the Phenom II x4 965 and the R9 270 is about 20% faster then the HD6950. As you can see the system covers all the points in the system requirements. [Tutorial] How to clean your PC from dust. PC dust cleanup tutorial.

04:52
Hello everyone and welcome to The Order today I will be showing you how to clean your PC from dust. Now I have seen several cleanup videos where people use a compressor or a leaf blower to remove the dust from their systems without disassembling any of the components. This not an appropriate method to clean your PC because a lot of dust is left inside of the case, the slots and ports and if you aren’t careful, the high pressure stream may damage your components. The right way to clean your PC is to disassemble it, then perform a dust cleanup of every individual component and then put everything back together. [Unboxing & Review] Magnat CFS 132 Car Audio Speakers

Hello everyone and welcome to The Order, today I’ll be making an unboxing and review of the Magnat CFS 132 car audio speakers. These are two way 5.25” or 130mm speakers, they have a nominal impedance of 4 ohms, and they are rated at 45 watts RMS. For the price they deliver good quality sound. I am personally pleased with their performance. They don’t require a lot of power. They are rated at 45W RMS, but judging from my tests they run well on 20W as well. So If you are planning to run these speakers directly from the head unit they will work just fine. 09:02
Hello everyone and welcome to The Order! After a long absence I am finally back. And to celebrate, me and my upgraded beard are bringing you a brand new episode of Buildbusters! Now this episode is going to be different. I usually bust builds made by YouTubers , but today I am going to show you how the PC stores in Eastern Europe rip-off their customers by selling them horrible builds. I would also like to thank everyone who supported me while I was away. I really appreciate it! If you have any questions feel free to send them in. Also I accept submissions for the next Buildbusters episode. Like, Comment and Subscribe for more tech videos! [RANT]The Eastern European customer is ALWAYS SCREWED

03:01
Hello everyone and welcome to The Order. This is going to be a rant update aka how I got ripped off. I bought an Acer V3-772G notebook from a store in my country because I needed a portable machine for work. But 7 days later the laptop failed and I asked for a replacement. After getting it the replacement unit failed while I was testing it in the store. I made a detailed Rant review on the topic I will put it on the screen. After the second unit failed I asked the retail store for a refund because I didn’t want a third defective notebook. But I was told that their company policy does not allow refunds on defective hardware. So I was forced to buy something else from the store. I bought some new hardware that was quite "rip-off taxed" even though I needed a notebook. For now I will not link the rip-off company because I suspect foul play on their behalf If they see this video. I was also assisted by a third party private company in this brawl and I don't want to cause problems for the employes that work there. Customers in Eastern Europe and in other developing countries face a lot problems when dealing with PC hardware retailers and warranty claims. For that reason in one of my next videos I will make an Eastern European component pricing tutorial. [10th Video Special]Constructing THE ULTIMATE portable audio system! THE ORDER IS BACK!

18:13
Hello everyone and welcome to The Order and welcome to my 10th video special. Today I will be constructing the ultimate portable audio system. Seeing all of these overpriced mediocre sounding systems I started thinking, couldn’t I construct something better and cheaper? Of course I can I’m an engineer. So I began working on a design, I considered multiple options, sizes and speaker configurations and In the end I decided to choose a ported two speaker box integrated inside of a backpack. I put in a lot of time and effort into this project and in the end I constructed an awesome portable audio system. Keep in mind this is just a prototype, I made this build as a concept idea for those who want to build a similar system of their own. [RANT] Acer's EPIC FAIL: The V3-772G

15:59
Hello everyone and welcome to The Order. Today I’ll be making a RANT on the Acer Aspire V3-772G notebook PC. I am making this video because the damn thing failed just 7 days after I bought it and I was unable to do a proper review so I decided to make something like a rant review. In it I will share my impressions and all of the EPIC FAILS that Acer made in this notebook. PS: I got a replacement unit which FAILED on the first boot up while I was testing it in the store. Unboxing video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-IUmdfXiDr0 After I posted the unboxing video a user contacted me, saying that he also used to own this notebook and it had major quality issues. [Hardware] MK II Upgraded 15$ DIY Modular Test Bench Case

05:13
Hello everyone and welcome to The Order. Today I will be demonstrating the MK II DIY Test bench case. The MK II is a upgraded version of the MK I. It now supports standard ATX motherboard and it has a slightly different design. I didn't have enough money to buy another set of steel parts so I salvaged the top fan assembly to extend the motherboard tray. The case still costs 15$, because I didn't use any extra parts and It can be upgraded even further. If you have any questions feel free to send them in !!! BUILDBUSTERS Episode 2: BUSTING Splatter Jolt's price deceiving PC builds

13:21
Hello everyone and welcome to The Order and welcome to Buildbusters the series that brings you the very best of the very worst PC builds on Youtube. Here on episode two I am will be confronting a user who I will call Splatter Jolt a.k.a. "The abuser of discounts". To be honest In the past I used to like Splatter Jolt, he used to make good content. But lately he has been posting some highly imbalanced builds and also he has been majorly deceiving his viewers with the prices of his rigs. Basically he is going to the commercial side. Build links: Price deceiving build 1: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/7WNFHx Price deceiving build 2: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/LbKwjX Price deceiving build 3: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/ytQWjX Imbalanced rig 1: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/L2LWjX Imbalanced rig 2: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/LbKwjX GTA V PC build video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Is_p9tCCzD0 Parts link: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/zmByt6 The Struggle Gaming RIG build: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YgnaQfAfrBw Parts link: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/zq8Nxr My GTA V and Struggle gaming rigs are obsolete, I gave them only as an example there are more optimal solutions for those prices. NOTE: I just want to note that the prices from the video may differ from the prices in the parts links. This is so because prices change due to expiring discounts, or the appearance of new ones, store deals, manufacturer pre-sale prices shifts and other factors. You may say that it is hypocritical on my behalf to claim this because this is one of my accusations towards Splatter Jolt. Here the concept is different. I do not use this argument to vindicate the deceptive quick-expiring prices of my builds. I use it in order to explain potential price shifts that may occur. And also I know that this price shift may deceive my viewers that is why I have made a pricing tutorial (bellow) to help them compensate for the shift. [RANT] Commercial RIP-OFF PC builders on YouTube

06:23
Hello everyone and welcome to The Order. This video is going to be a rant on the topic of rip-off commercial PC builders on YouTube. There are a lot of PC builders on YouTube. Some big some small, Some of them are good but others have simply went to the commercial side. I got a lot of comments from users complaining that they got ripped off because they bought one those flashy inadequate builds that some of the big tech YouTubers recommend. So I decided to investigate the matter. The Order 1000$ PC parts list: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/ghTwHx The GPU has been updated* In time this build will become obsolete. If the prices change too much check out my pricing tutorial to compensate for the shift: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OJf5OBv-8qw Intro Music: Bacterial Love by Rolemusic http://creativecommons.org/ns http://freemusicarchive.org/music/Rolemusic/Pop_Singles_Compilation_2014/01_rolemusic_-_bacterial_love http://freemusicarchive.org/music/Rolemusic http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 Background music: Ethan Meixswell - Start your engines If you have any questions feel free to send them in. [Guide] 350-400$ Haswell (G3258) & Skylake (G4400) Gaming PC build component selections

03:57
Hello everyone and welcome to The Order today I'll be making two gaming PC component selections in the price range of 350 to 400$. Its going to be a battle between Haswell and Skylake. Today's builds are going to be based on the Pentium G3258 and the Pentium G4400. The G3258 is still the preferred CPU for many sub 400$ PC builds, but when Skylake came out people began wondering is there a new and better low end alternative. Well, in the end I am going to list the pros and cons of both builds so that everyone can decide for themselves which choice is better.
