When I'm Up (I Can't Get Down) - Great Big Sea - Lyrics ,

03:28
I am the fountain of affection I'm the instrument of joy And to keep the good times rolling I'm the boy, I'm the boy, You know the world could be our oyster, You just put your trust in me, Cause we'll keep the good times rolling Wait and see, wait and see....oh wait and see! His exhaltation, a sweet disintegration. A few discolorations, then it comes along up is why he chooses, the kisses and the bruises There ain't nothing he refuses, then it comes along It comes along, and I am lifted, I am lifted, I am lifted! [Chorus:] When I'm up I can't get down Can't get down, can't get level When I'm up I can't get down Get my feet back on the ground When I'm up I can't get down Can't get down, can't get level When I'm up I can't get down Get my feet back on the ground He just needs, something to blind him Something to wind him up It won't take long to find him When it comes on strong. Wise guys are grinning, street lights are spinning The night is just beginning, and then it comes on strong It comes on strong, and I am lifted, I am lifted, I am lifted! [Chorus] Oh it comes on strong, and I am lifted. It comes on strong, and I am lifted. I am lifted, I am lifted! [Chorus] ----- **No Copyright Infringement Intended.** -----

Peru Tours Peru Tours Coast The coastal region accounts for 10.6% of Peru's territory 52,639 square miles (136,334 km2). It is a narrow strip 1,554 miles long (2,500 km), but only 12 to 62 miles wide (19 to 100 km). The altitude along this strip varies from zero to 3,281 feet above sea level (1,000 m). Although the coastal strip is mainly arid, seasonal rains occur in the north, especially during periods of El Niño climatic phenomena. Peru Tours Along the coast, less than 1 million hectares of the total 15 million are irrigated, Some of the 52 valleys are arable and they are farmed using a combination of ancient Peruvian methods and modern technologies The Peruvian coastal region has been home to several important cultures. Visitors of Peru Tours can find many well-known archaeological sites here, including Chan-Chan, Nasca and Sipan. In the coastal plain the temperature is normally equable, averaging about 20° C (about 68° F) throughout the year. The coastal climate is moderated by winds blowing from the cool offshore current known as the Peru, or Humboldt, Current. Peru Tours. Peru Tours, Sierra Sierra is the name given to the Andean highland region, where the Andes mount range runs through the country north to south like a backbone, dividing the coastal region from the jungle. The sierra offers a wide diversity of landscapes which vary according to the altitude. The Sierra makes up 30.5% of the nation's territory 151,304 square miles (391,876 km2) and is between 52 and 155 miles wide (83 to 250 km). The average altitude is 14,108 feet above sea level (4,275 m aprox.). The Peruvian Andes have more than 174 snow-capped peaks over 16,000 feet (4,877 m) in height and 39 peaks over 19,600 feet (5,974 m) in height. The highest and most formidable of them all is Mt.Huascaran at 22,205 feet (6,768 m). High plateaus, at altitudes ranging from 12,500 to 14,100 feet (3,810 to 4,298 m) above sea level, contrast sharply with deep canyons such as those formed by the Apurimac, Cotahuasi and Colca Rivers. . The exposed eastern slopes of the Andes receive more than 2,500 mm (100 in) of rain annually, but sheltered locations receive much less. Rainfall amounts diminish rapidly southward, causing many changes in the vegetation. Peru Tours. http://www.kumaruq.com/

HOLLAND: Schoorl village & dune forest [HD]

05:04
The village of Schoorl lies on the coast of North Holland close to Alkmaar. It is separated from the coast by the highest and widest dune range in the Netherlands. The dunes reach about 54 m above sea level, right behind the center of Schoorl, and are more than 5 km wide. Traditionally, farmers collected sand from the dunes to mix it with the clay of the polders. As a result, sandy spaces developed that are also known as 'climbing dunes'. Children in particular have a whale of a time climbing up and tumbling down the hills - the largest sandpit in the Netherlands. Schoorl is a major local tourism location in the summer and counts over 25 campsites, the largest concentration of campsites in the Netherlands. The village, earlier named Scorel contains evidence of a long history in the form of the old council house aging from 1601. There's also a 17th century reformed church. The Dutch painter and evangelist Jan van Scorel was born here. Jan van Scorel (1495-1562) was an influential Dutch painter credited with the introduction of High Italian Renaissance art to the Netherlands. May 21, 2010

Lead researcher Justin Marshall explained that learning more about these creatures' primitive eyes and brains could help neurosciences to better understand human vision. Much of our knowledge on how nerve cells function and communicate was first pioneered through work on giant squid nerve cells. The Drive to the Summit of Mauna Kea in Hawaii

06:41
Mauna Kea is an inactive volcano in Hawaii, one of five volcanoes which together form the island of Hawaii. The peak of Mauna Kea is 13,803 feet (4,207 m) above mean sea level and about 30,000 feet (9,100 m) above its base on the floor of the Pacific Ocean. By this measurement, Mauna Kea is the world's tallest mountain, taller than Mount Everest, which is the highest mountain above sea level. Here is our drive, through the clouds, to the summit of Mauna Kea... Audio Copyright Notices: 'Your Hand In Mine [With Strings]' by Explosions In The Sky remains courtesy of WMG, ® 2004. A Flood of Evidence Against a Flood - Part 1 - (Volume)

07:29
This is the first of three videos that aim to completely debunk the flood myth with hard science and simple mathematics All figures are obtained from Wikipedia, which while not being the best reference source available, is generally accurate for our purposes and is readily available for anyone to check my figures if they wish The calculations mentioned in this video are as follows: Height of Mt Everest above sea level 8,848 m = 8.848 km Area of the surface of the earth 510,072,000 Km2 Volume of floodwaters required to cover the earth to a depth of the height of mount Everest 8.848 x 510,072,000 = 4,513,117,056 km3 If half of this flood water came from below the ground and half of this water came from a vapour canopy in the Earth's atmosphere then... 2,256,558,528 Km3 of water was in the vapour cloud 1 km3 = 1,000,000,000 m3 1 m3 is approximately equal to 1 tonne Therefore the vapour cloud weighed... 2,256,558,528,000,000,000 tonnes If the earth was a tropical paradise before the flood as we are told then it would be safe to assume that the air temperature was around 30'C and air at 30'C cannot hold more than 30g/m2 of water or the water will condense (100% humidity). 1tonne = 1,000kg = 1,000,000g 30g/m2 = 0.00003kg/m2 Therefore it can be asserted that the vapour cloud had a volume of: 75,218,617,600,000,000,000,000 m3 This is equal to 75,220,000,000,000 km3 The volume of the Planet Neptune is 62,540,000,000,000 km3 Therefore the volume of the vapour cloud is greater than the volume of Neptune which has a diameter of about 49,528km. The diameter of the cloud is actually over 52,000km Pressure at sea level was calculated as follows: If half of the water required to flood the earth was in the Earth's atmosphere as a vapour cloud then that is a quantity equivalent to 4,424m of overall flood water. 1m3 of water is roughly equivalent to 1 tonne Therefore on any single 1m2 of the earth surface at sea level 4,424m3 of water would be exerting a downward pressure giving a pressure of 4,424tonnes per m2 which is equivalent to 426 atmospheres If the Noah and all the animals were used to living under such high pressures they would have died as this pressure rapidly dropped over a period of 40 days to just one atmosphere. In the second part of this series we will look in more detail at the implications of having a Neptune sized cloud of water vapour in the Earth's atmosphere would have on Noah and his animals Please feel free to rate, comment and subscribe. If you wish to argue any of the points made in this video I would love to hear from you Another great video on the same subject that uses a slightly different and more acurate method of calculating the volume of flood water required: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7QJ7yZ9L1po The user's name is Bushonomics, check him out.

Train Xi'an to Lhasa - Part 3 of 6

10:43
Built quite literally on the roof of the world – at an average elevation around 4,500m above sea level – the Qinghai-Tibet railway represents the culmination of the long-held Chinese dream of connecting China to Tibet. Running for over 1,956km from Xining, capital of China’s Qinghai province to Lhasa, through some of the planet’s harshest natural conditions, it is an impressive catalogue of world records. With its highest point at an altitude of 5,072m – 200m or more above the Peruvian railway in the Andes – Qinghai-Tibet easily takes the title as the world’s highest track and Tanggula Station, a mere 4m lower, the highest railway station. It is also the longest plateau railway in the world. Some 550m of its tracks are on frozen earth, passing through both the world’s most elevated tunnel – Fenghuoshan Tunnel (4,905m) – and the longest plateau tunnel – Kunlun Mountain (1,686m) – to be built on frozen earth.

Folk Dance of the Azerbaijanian Turks in Urmia-Urmiye

02:44
Umia or (Turkish Language: اورمو, Urmiya,Urmu, Orumiyeh, Urmiye) is a city in Northwestern South Azerbaijan (Iranian Azerbaijan) and the capital of West Azerbaijan Province. The city lies on an altitude of 1,330 m above sea level on the Shahar Chaye river (City River). Urmia is the 10th populated city in iran and 2nd of Azerbaijanian Turks provinces after Tabriz. Urmia is the trade center for a fertile agricultural region where fruit (Specially Apple and Grape) and Tobacco are grown. An important town by the 9th cent. Urmia was seized by the Oghuz Turks (11th cent.), sacked by the Seljuk Turks (1184), and later occupied a number of times by the Ottoman Turks. The name Urmia or Urmu is thought to have come from Sumerian tongue, the earliest known civilization in the world located in southern Mesopotamia. Ur was a principle Sumerian city. Some believe the name is derived from Syriac. Ur, meaning "cradle," and mia, meaning "water". Hence, Urmia, situated by a lake and surrounded by rivers, would be the cradle of water.Urmia lake is the second salt lake of the world. The population of Urmia is predominantly Azerbaijanian Turks (over 90%), but with Kurdish,Assyrian and Armenian minorities.

http://CaboVacationGetaway.com. At the Queen's Bath, they call it "shoot the ball", but these crazy kids took it to a higher level. I don't think they were expecting to get swept out to sea in Kauai.

Mauna Kea Summit

A video of the summit of Mauna Kea, the highest Volcano of Hawaii. Home to thirteen telescopes, which are exploring the universe. The summit of Mauna Kea is at 4,205 m (13,796 ft) above sea level and provides a stunning sunset. Due to maintenance in the Canada France Hawaii telescope I got the oportunity to have a look inside the observatory.
