How to disconnect all connections on sql server database |kill all connections |disconnect all users

03:06
use master ALTER DATABASE YourDatabase SET SINGLE_USER WITH ROLLBACK IMMEDIATE --do you stuff here ALTER DATABASE YourDatabase SET MULTI_USER This video is about killing or disconnect all connections to a database. The easiest way is bringing the database to single user mode and set it back to multiuser mode. This will disconnect all connections form all the users other than current one who is logged to the database. One important aspect here is, do not close the screen once you set the database to single user mode. Because when a database is in single user mode it will allow only a single connection to the database. If you allow dropping your connection and if any other connects to the database you will not be able to connect the database again. So you may have to Stop the SQL server and start again to connect the database. It is also possible to do this using SQL management studio. Right click on the database, go to properties, go to options and move to restrict access option. There you can select the single user mode or multiple user mode. Now The question is why do you need to do this. I mean when, do you want to kill all connections. It is mainly, when you want to have exclusive access to the database. For example a database is not allowing you to restore a backup on this because you cannot grant the exclusive access, then you can bring the database to single user mode; killing all connections; perform your activates and after that set it to the multi user mode. This way you can maintain the exclusive access while you are completing the work.

How to solve ORA-01940: cannot drop a user that is currently connected

06:12
This video demonstrates how to solve the ORA-01940 cannot drop a user that is currently connected error. This error is raised when we try to drop a user that is connected to the database or having an active connection to the database. We will demonstrate a solution in which we would kill the user that is connected to the oracle database by its serial# and PID. This tutorial will guide viewers on how to kill an active session and then drop the user. DEF CON 23 - Topher Timzen and Ryan Allen - Hijacking Arbitrary NET Application Control F

39:19
This speech will demonstrate attacking .NET applications at runtime. I will show how to modify running applications with advanced .NET and assembly level attacks that alter the control flow of any .NET application. New attack techniques and tools will be released to allow penetration testers and attackers to carry out advanced post exploitation attacks. This presentation gives an overview of how to use these tools in a real attack sequence and gives a view into the .NET hacker space. Topher Timzen has had a research emphasis on reverse engineering malware, incident response and exploit development. He has instructed college courses in malware analysis and memory forensics while managing a cybersecurity research lab. Focusing on .NET memory hijacking, he has produced tools that allow for new post exploitation attack sequences. Topher is currently a Security Researcher at Intel.

Oracle Data Guard Tutorial - Open the Standby Read Only (Part 2 of 4)

16:49
This tutorial provides a quick review of what Data Guard is, and then goes on to show how you can extract value from Data Guard in every-day usage: how you can use it to enhance performance, and to reduce (yes, reduce!) your need for Oracle licences. Opening the standby database read-only. This has in fact been possible since the automation of redo transport and redo apply when it was first introduced in release 8i. Redo is received on the standby database but is not applied. So the redo is written to the RFS, slave to standby logs, archive to standby logs into archive logs but there's no apply done. So recoverability is not compromised. There's still no danger being lots of data. You're still receiving. The thing is open read-only. What does that mean? It means you can run queries against it. You can offload all your heavyweight queries from the primary to the standby. When I say all of them, even queries that require vast massive temporary space, those horrendous queries, those doing hash joins between multi gigabyte tables, they'll be generating many gigabytes of temporary data. You can write temporary data. Provided that you're using proper temporary tablespaces which you're certain you should be, you can run any query no matter how big, no matter how much temporary data it needs. You can also write audit data and this is important because with version 11, there's quite a lot of auditing enabled by default. By default, that auditing goes to the database, writing database tables. And you can't write to a database table in a read-only database. That we can configure for automatic switching and direct the audit records to the operating system or the trail instead. The queries you run, why is this such a good facility? First, you're taking stress off the primary. I'm sure that we're all DBAs here and we all know how difficult it is to tune your database or a concurrent workload that includes both high volume DML and includes heavyweight queries. Basically, you can't tune that way at all. Offloading the queries to the physical standby will reduce a lot of stress from the primary. So your DML should run significantly better and you can even do a certain amount of tuning on the standby to tune for optimal query performance. The most obvious tuning one would do, would be the memory parameters. No one could for example give the primary a massive PGA aggregate target and the much smaller SGA target or use indeed automatic memory management, perhaps cell tuning. One can adjust many parameters to do with tuning the optimizer to drive the optimizer to a certain execution plan, to exploit the environments. All that can be done on an open read-only database. How does one do it? It really couldn't be simpler. If we look at my physical standby here, this thing database role, physical standby - and if we select the open mode from v$ database, we find this in mount mode. How do we actually open at read-only? First off, we have to stop the recovery process because remember redo is received but no applied. You have to cancel the recovery. So "alter database recover managed standby database cancel." That will give us a read consistent version of the database. The command is intelligent enough to know that there might be incomplete transactions. Long-run transactions could've been partially received. We will end up with a read consistent version. To cancel it, all we do is alter database open read-only. It is that simple.

SQL timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation

00:47
Description https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.data.sqlclient.sqlcommand.commandtimeout.aspx c # Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding. Have you set the CommandTimeout ? . If not set the CommmandTimeout (in seconds) check. Most of the times it should work. The below URL gives you more information about CommandTimeout. https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.data.sqlclient.sqlcommand.commandtimeout.aspx This property is the cumulative time-out (for all network packets that are read during the invocation of a method) for all network reads during command execution or processing of the results. A time-out can still occur after the first row is returned, and does not include user processing time, only network read time. For example, with a 30 second time out, if Read requires two network packets, then it has 30 seconds to read both network packets. If you call Read again, it will have another 30 seconds to read any data that it requires.

ASSASSINS CREED ODYSSEY Walkthrough Gameplay PART 38 - SEALING ATLANTIS

#ASSASSINSCREEDODYSSEY #KASSANDRA #AFUNKYCUT Subscribe for more Assassin's Creed Odyssey Gameplay - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCnkxtYgmdWFcXEEOCAIQlww?sub_confirmation=1 Assassin's Creed Odyssey is an action role-playing video game developed by Ubisoft Quebec and published by Ubisoft. It is the eleventh major installment, and twentieth overall, in the Assassin's Creed series and the successor to 2017's Assassin's Creed Origins. Set in the year 431 BCE, the plot tells a fictional history of the Peloponnesian War. Players choose between controlling a mercenary for either the Delian League led by Athens or the Peloponnesian League, led by Sparta. Assassin's Creed Odyssey places more emphasis on role-playing elements than previous games in the series. The game will contain dialogue options, branching quests, and multiple endings. The player will be able to choose the gender of the main character, adopting the role of Alexios or Kassandra. The player will also have the ability to develop romantic relationships with non-playable characters of both genders, regardless of which one they choose. The game features a notoriety system in which mercenaries will chase after the player if they commit crimes like killing or stealing from non-playable characters. Both Alexios and Kassandra start the game as a mercenary and a descendant of the Spartan king Leonidas I. They inherit his broken spear, which is forged into a blade to become a weapon that grants the player special abilities in combat. The game uses a skill tree system that allows the player to unlock new abilities. The three skill trees include "hunter", which improves player character's archery, "warrior" which puts emphasis on combat and "assassin" which focuses on stealth. This replaces the system used in Origins, which granted the player a series of passive abilities. The hitbox combat system introduced in Origins returns and has been expanded upon to grant the player access to four different special skills when the ability bar fills up. These skills include calling a rain of arrows and a powerful kick to knock opponents off-balance and are similar to the "Overpower" mechanic introduced in Origins that let the player use a powerful finishing move in combat. The game also features a gear system in which each piece of armor the player wears has different statistics and provides a range of advantages. These can be equipped and upgraded individually. Assassin's Creed Odyssey also features the return of naval combat, with the player having access to Hellenistic-era warships to explore the Aegean Sea. The conflict between Athens and Sparta is represented through a "War System" which enables players to take contracts from mercenaries and participate in different large-scale battles against hostile factions. The war system can change a faction's influence over a region, which will alter both the gameplay and story.

Man TURNS Into ANIMAL In CHURCH!

This is EXTREME demonic possession! The deliverance of Enny Eboka may be hard to swallow, especially if it is your first time of seeing such raw satanic exposure. However, we encourage you to watch his testimony and confession to the very end without jumping to any hasty conclusions. As T.B. Joshua says, "The spiritual world is REAL and Christianity is not to be practiced as a hobby, for there are real dangers in it." Psychopaths (Crime Psychology Documentary) - Real Stories

48:29
Psychopaths probably make up around 20 per cent of the prison population in both the USA and Britain. They are four times more likely to re-offend than other released prisoners, yet they are just as likely to get parole. Little is known about the minds of psychopaths and what is really behind the horrific things they do – but Equinox tackles the subject in this insightful documentary. Professor Robert Hare – consulted by the FBI and British Home Office – is the undisputed oracle on the psychopathic mind. In Psychopaths, he reveals stunning new evidence behind their behaviour, and suggests people should look to the brain for clues and not bad upbringing. This programme examines the Psychopathy Checklist, IQ distribution and blending in to social norms; and reports the peculiar phenomenon that treatment programmes make psychopaths re-offend earlier and more aggressively. Debate: Catholic vs Protestant - Tim Staples vs James White

03:20:26
This debate took place back in 1996. James White is the director of Alpha and Omega Ministries, a Christian apologetics organization based in Phoenix, Arizona. He is the author of more than twenty books, a professor, an accomplished debater, and an elder of the Phoenix Reformed Baptist Church. Tim Staples is the Director of Apologetics and Evangelization at Catholic Answers, but he was not always Catholic. Tim was raised a Southern Baptist and later, as an adult, enrolled in Jimmy Swaggart Bible College and became a youth minister in an Assembly of God community. He converted to Catholicism in 1988.

Warren Hastings by Thomas Babington Macaulay

04:45:27
"Warren Hastings" is Chapter IV of Thomas Macaulay's Critical and Historical Essays, vol. III. It first appeared in the Edinburgh Review of October 1841 as a review of Memoirs of the Life of Warren Hastings, first Governor-General of Bengal. Compiled from Original Papers, by the Rev. G. R. Gleig, M. A. 3 vols. 8vo. London: 1841. This essay on is generally considered to be one of the finest by the great historian and great literary stylist, Thomas Babington Macalay. Macaulay himself served in India from 1834 to 1838, and as a Whig and a believer in progress in the nineteenth century sense, he urged that Indians be trained in useful knowledge -- western, that is, and particularly British learning, easily dismissing traditional Indian education as of no value. Though he is well aware of Hastings’s flaws, he nevertheless greatly admires him as one of the creators of Britain’s Asian empire. Today’s critics, of course, can easily dismiss both men as “Orientalists” (to use Edwin Said’s terminology) but they both remain essential to an understanding of nineteenth century British history and culture. Chapter 1 - 00:00 Chapter 2 - 38:17 Chapter 3 - 1:07:07 Chapter 4 - 1:38:30 Chapter 5 - 2:12:07 Chapter 6 - 2:44:18 Chapter 7 - 3:19:18 Chapter 8 - 3:55:12 Chapter 9 - 4:25:40
