It’s very easy to use the inline css in HTML document inside of any HTML Tag.You can add inline css to html element using the HTML Style attribute. Although Inline CSS is not a good practice but sometimes you will have to write Inline CSS code in HTML. The main difference of the Inline CSS is that , it only affects the HTML tag where you used the inline css. To Design any HTML eMail template , Edit old website , Design Website with CMS like WordPress and to Add dynamic content , You will need to use Inline CSS . Inline css is also a bit faster because the HTML document doesn’t need to call any external CSS file every time. #CSS #Tutorials #Inline #CSS #Font #family CSS Tutorials Playlist (Get All Videos) : http://imranemu.com/css-tutorials [ Please subscribe our Youtube Channel https://goo.gl/XJ7e4g ] Some Free WordPress Plugins : https://goo.gl/eNQrmS Some Awesome free Plugins , You would love to install ... Applying Styles: Three different ways of placing / applying styles: Inline style Embedded style External style Inline style: styles that are placed within the tag itself. we use style attribute to place inline styles. value to the style attribute is declaration list. Note: Inline styles get apply only to that specific tag in which they are declared. And If any property is inheritable in that declaration list, then that property /style will get apply/inherited to its successor tags too. Limitations of inline style: If we have many tags with common styles, then we have to copy paste the entire declaration list to every other tag. That increases the webpage size. Increase in code size. Code Redundancy. No maintainability. Time consuming. To overcome this limitation we use embedded styles. ======================================================== Follow the link for next video: https://youtu.be/7A5oeofb9-8 Follow the link for previous video: https://youtu.be/wSp1N-0MMbg ========= For more benefits & Be up to date =================== Subscribe to "chidres tech tutorials" channel: it's free Visit to Chidre's Tech Tutorials website: https://www.chidrestechtutorials.com Like the Facebook fan page: https://www.facebook.com/ManjunathChidre ======================================================== ========== CSS Questions & Answers ======================== ========================================================

HTML Inline Style (Style Attribute) Tutorial .. Hello guys! in this lecture we are gonna learn HTML style attribute or inline style.. But first, I wanna explain why we need this style thing? Because, we may need to change the look of an HTML element.. maybe a background color, a font size or color.. whatever we want to control in terms of style we can do that.. it’s easy and I’ll teach you..in this video.. Let’s start with coding our standard HTML structure or skeleton.. To be honest, we don’t need to code this skeleton because our elements will work without body, or head or html tags.. however, I want you to be professional developer so it’s important to get used to the common structure.. I hope you understand .. Anyway, I’m implementing my first HTML element, and it is a level one heading.. it could be anything but.. whatever.. Yeah.. put some text inside this.. like “Hi! I’m the Most Important Text in This Document” or you can put whatever text you want.. sky is the limit.. Let’s see how it looks.. as you probably know I always use Coda2 as code editor because I love it, and this code editor has it’s own preview window.. probably your code editor has no feature like this.. that’s not the matter, save your source code and open up your saved html file with any browser like chrome, firefox or safari.. Anyway , I wanna start right away.. the first thing you need to know is how to add an inline style.. An inline style can be inserted into any HTML element with “style attribute”.. that’s what I’m doing right now.. then , add double quotes and write your style rules inside the double quotes. I want my level one heading’s color to be green, so I must do that with color:green CSS rule…

Yo ninjas, in this CSS for Beginners tutorial we'll take a look at how NOT to apply CSS to your HTML (99% of the time, at least :) ). This includes the yucky in-line style approach, where we apply CSS styles directly to the tags themselves via the 'style' attribute, and embedded styles in the head of the document. In the next movie we'll take a look at External Style Sheets and why they're sooo much better :). Block vs inline explained. Why not both? When to use it, how to transform one in another and much more in this tutorial. Follow the wisdom of Tech Tzu: https://twitter.com/Tech_Tzu https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100013382105892&fref=ts Project Resources: http://www.mediafire.com/download/ydkkkcar8z6685c/Inline_vs_Block_elements_-_by_Tech_Tzu.zip Tools: Brackets, FREE code editor http://brackets.io/ Emmet, super speed coding addon http://emmet.io/ Beautify, turning your ugly code into beautiful script https://github.com/brackets-beautify/brackets-beautify Transcription: Okay let's understand what is the difference between inline and block elements, it's very important to understand the difference so we can easily manipulate your HTML file and CSS files. And your website layout in general. Okay. Inline elements are basically elements that flow, that flows one after each other, for example, add one p tag and add some text inside, as you can see we can add our span, which is an in-line element and says this is span and you can see that our text is inside the text it this text wrap its around, so nothing special, you just add some in-line elements. For example, let's add the big is this is an inline element and say this is big text, and that's it. Inline elements are elements that are inside the text and the text flows around them. Okay, let's move to block elements. Block elements are, for example, our div is a block element and I will explain on this example. Let's add to our div some styling, some styling, I prepare some styles over here in the comment just cut it inside add some width to be 100 pixels, and the height also, and background color to be white. Just to add hex code... and now we can see our div element. For example, if you add, we can add in the span elements, we can add another span element, for example, this is a big text big, we just copy and paste it and it will be in a line, but if we add another div elements, just copy this one here, it will go in another line. Just add some margin so we can better see margin to be up 20 pixels. Okay, so we can see our, our div element so let's add another div element. okay, there's another div element. As you can see the block elements are one below another and our in-line elements are next to each other. But, we have tricks, we can just mash up some these things, and just let's say that are div elements, which are naturally block elements, let's say display, display inline, so they act like inline elements. And what happened? As you can see something is wrong. And that's because inline elements don't support height and width of the elements. Just check this out: if we add to our big, just say it's add to our big element, let's add height for example 100 pixels nothing happens. Width also 100 pixels nothing happens. Because inline elements don't support width and height, but block elements do, so we just need to display these like inline-block. As you can see now our elements are acting just like in-line elements, just like this one, and that but there block elements. What will happen if we add to our in-line elements display to be displayed like a block? They will just fall down ok? I will just add background color so we can see better. And as you can see we changed to block height in the width now have a purpose and we had these white background block but if we add inline-block they will flow next to each other the flow next to each other. So the main difference between the div and in-line between the block and in-line elements is that in-line in line with text and block acts as a block and just add display in-line block or display block to change behavior of that element. So everything can be in-line and everything can be a block element by just by adding these rule display. And this is it, thank you for watching and bye-bye.

#htmlcss #cssfonts #cssbordres #cssmargin #csspadding Hi viewers Today in This Tutorial we discuss on the topic is: Html Css: 1) What is Css? 2) How many types to include Css file in html file? 3) How to write different font sizes? 4) How to write borders using css? 5) How to write css padding? 6) How to write css margin ? 7) Id attribute & Class attribute? Styling HTML with CSS CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheets. CSS describes how HTML elements are to be displayed on screen, paper, or in other media. CSS saves a lot of work. It can control the layout of multiple web pages all at once. CSS can be added to HTML elements in 3 ways: Inline - by using the style attribute in HTML elements Internal - by using a style element in the head section External - by using an external CSS file The most common way to add CSS, is to keep the styles in separate CSS files. However, here we will use inline and internal styling, because this is easier to demonstrate, and easier for you to try it yourself. Inline CSS An inline CSS is used to apply a unique style to a single HTML element. An inline CSS uses the style attribute of an HTML element. Internal CSS An internal CSS is used to define a style for a single HTML page. An internal CSS is defined in the head section of an HTML page, within a style element: External CSS An external style sheet is used to define the style for many HTML pages. With an external style sheet, you can change the look of an entire web site, by changing one file! To use an external style sheet, add a link to it in the head section of the HTML page: Note: An external style sheet can be written in any text editor. The file must not contain any HTML code, and must be saved with a .css extension. CSS Fonts The CSS color property defines the text color to be used. The CSS font-family property defines the font to be used. The CSS font-size property defines the text size to be used. CSS Border The CSS border property defines a border around an HTML element: CSS Padding The CSS padding property defines a padding (space) between the text and the border: CSS Margin The CSS margin property defines a margin (space) outside the border: Follow - Shs Tech Solutions : https://www.youtube.com/shstechsolutions Follow On Social Media : Facebook : https://www.facebook.com/shstechsolut... Learn how to fix inline CSS in your code, and speed up both your development time and website in the process. Test your site for free at www.seositecheckup.com. In this video, you’ll hear some of the following: " In this video, we’ll show you how to improve your site’s SEO score and loading time by fixing a common issue – using too much inline CSS. After running the diagnostics of our site on seositecheckup, we can see that it’s failed a few common checks. In this case, our site has 36 instances of inline CSS styles, which slows down its loading page time quite dramatically. Now, CSS if you’re not fully aware, stands for for Cascading Style Sheets. Your CSS file describes how HTML elements are displayed on your site. CSS saves a lot of redundant code as it controls the layout or styling of multiple web pages all at once. If we click here, we can see the details on each instance. And if we click “how to fix”, we see some general guidelines on how to code this properly, so we can have all of our CSS used in one external style sheet, instead of sprinkled throughout the code of our main page. In this case, we should locate each issue, remove it, and point the code towards our one external CSS file. " Hear more by watching the full video!

HTML div tag vs HTML span tag: div tag is a paired tag span tag is a paired tag div tag is a block level tag span tag is a inline level tag Inline tags should exist in context with block level tags. In modern html every html element should be meaningful. h1 indicates heading, p indicates paragraph, b indicates bold etc. we supposed to use right element for right purpose. When there is no meaningful tag present for what we want to achieve then we use div tag. For example there is no tag used to create divisions in the page hence we use div tag. span tag is used to enclose inline contents like text images etc. ======================================================== Follow the link for next video: https://youtu.be/hL93pLKLSLs Follow the link for previous video: https://youtu.be/YwJgtVjG2pg ========= For more benefits & Be up to date =================== Subscribe to "chidres tech tutorials" channel: it's free Visit to Chidre's Tech Tutorials website: https://www.chidrestechtutorials.com Like the Facebook fan page: https://www.facebook.com/ManjunathChidre ======================================================== ========== HTML Questions & Answers ====================== ========================================================

Grab Your Free 17-Point WordPress Pre-Launch PDF Checklist: http://vid.io/xqRL 4 Places To Edit WordPress CSS | WP Learning Lab To edit WordPress CSS you first need to know all the places you can find CSS. There are 4 common places. You may not have all these locations on your website because some of them are theme-dependent. The possible CSS locations are: 1. The WordPress theme or child theme stylesheet (this one you have for sure) 2. The theme options panel (this one you may or may not have) 3. A CSS editor on each page and post (this one you may or may not have) 4. Inline CSS applied directly to HTML elements on the page (this one you will have only if you're written it) Let's go through each one. The WordPress theme or child theme stylesheet When inside your WordPress dashboard if you click on Appearance then Editor you will be able to edit theme or child theme files. Usually the style.css is loaded first by default. If it's not loaded find the style.css file in the list of files on the right side of the editor page. When you find it, click on it. That will open the CSS file in WordPress editor. At this point you can make edits to the file and click on the Update button to save your changes. How to actually code CSS is beyond the scope of this tutorial, but you can check out my CSS channel over here (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCeFLITjl2v9vtIkftw9UMsw) The danger in editing CSS directly in the stylesheet of the main theme is that what you create may be over written when the theme updates. You get around this problem by creating a child theme (see a tutorial on how to create a WordPress child theme here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z8n1h-85SMQ). The theme options panel Not every theme has a theme options panel, but the ones that do make WordPress CSS so much easier to edit. You can simply add CSS to the CSS box in the theme options and click save changes. The upside is that theme updates won't erase the CSS code you create. A CSS editor on each page and post Some themes, like Avada and Divi, give you the option of insert CSS code right into the individual posts and pages of your website. This is great for CSS that you want to be only one page. I would only recommend doing this if you're putting more than 100 lines of CSS into the page. If it's less than 100 lines of CSS you're better to put into the main stylesheet so you stay organized. If it's more than 100 lines of CSS code that only need to exist on one page then your site will load a little bit faster overall by not loading all that CSS into every page. Inline CSS The last place in our list and the last place you'd want to create CSS code is right in your HTML elements. This is called inline CSS and can be difficult to work with for two big reasons. First, you can't apply the CSS to more than one element at a time. So if you want to style all the paragraphs on the page in the same way you have to apply the same CSS code over and over again to each p tag. This is a pain to administer and will result in larger than needed page sizes. Second, if you add inline CSS to lots of pages it will be come difficult to remember what CSS you applied where. Then trying to find it an make edits will become a pain. Inline CSS also takes precedent over CSS in the stylesheet. So you might be make changes to CSS in the stylesheet, but nothing is happening on the page. You'll go through a frustrating few minutes before you figure out the CSS is actually inline on the page.
