:-) Команда «Travel Improvisation» We are begginers-travel bloggers. In the autumn of 2018 we launch the project "Travel Improvisation". The purpose of our project is to show people that it is possible to travel without having a lot of money. The first season of travel will last 80 days and will be held in Europe. The countries we will visit: Poland, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia, Macedonia, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic. We do not want to be like the other travelers, so we will not specify a specific sequence of cities, but we will maximize improvise, communicate with local people and choose interesting places to visit. During the trip we will do photo and video shooting, live broadcasts, talk about everything in our blog on our website, Instagram, Facebook, Youtube. Please support us! Follow us and subscribe to Instagram! It will be interesting! :-) Team «Travel Improvisation»

How Earth Would Look If All The Ice Melted

02:45
We learned last year that many of the effects of climate change are irreversible. Sea levels have been rising at a greater rate year after year, and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change estimates they could rise by another meter or more by the end of this century. As National Geographic showed us in 2013, sea levels would rise by 216 feet if all the land ice on the planet were to melt. This would dramatically reshape the continents and drown many of the world's major cities. Deepest Part of The Oceans - Full Documentary HD

44:54
Measuring the Greatest Ocean Depth The Challenger Deep in the Mariana Trench is the deepest known point in Earth's oceans. In 2010 the United States Center for Coastal & Ocean Mapping measured the depth of the Challenger Deep at 10,994 meters (36,070 feet) below sea level with an estimated vertical accuracy of ± 40 meters. If Mount Everest, the highest mountain on Earth, were placed at this location it would be covered by over one mile of water. The first depth measurements in the Mariana Trench were made by the British survey ship HMS Challenger, which was used by the Royal Navy in 1875 to conduct research in the trench. The greatest depth that they recorded at that time was 8,184 meters (26,850 feet). In 1951, another Royal Navy vessel, also named the "HMS Challenger," returned to the area for additional measurements. They discovered an even deeper location with a depth of 10,900 meters (35,760 feet) determined by echo sounding. The Challenger Deep was named after the Royal Navy vessel that made these measurements. In 2009, sonar mapping done by researchers aboard the RV Kilo Moana, operated by the University of Hawaii, determined the depth to be 10,971 meters (35,994 feet) with a potential error of ± 22 meters. The most recent measurement, done in 2010, is the 10,994 meter ( ± 40 meter accuracy) depth reported at the top of this article, measured by the United States Center for Coastal & Ocean Mapping.

It was constructed between 1887 and 1895 by John Pennycuick and also reached in an agreement to donate water eastwards to the Madras Presidency area (present-day Tamil Nadu). It has a height of 53.6 m (176 ft) from the foundation, and a length of 365.7 m (1,200 ft).The Periyar National Park in Thekkady is located around the dam's reservoir. The dam is located in Kerala on the river Periyar, but is operated and maintained by Tamil Nadu state.Although the Periyar River has a total catchment area of 5398 km2 with 114 km2 in Tamil Nadu, the catchment area of the Mullaperiyar Dam itself lies entirely in Kerala. By reports on 21 November 2014, Mullaperiyar water level touches 142 feet for first time in 35 years. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- To know more about the best seller stovecraft : https://goo.gl/MZj7Gx The reasonable priced Thermosteel flask which I recommend : https://goo.gl/yM9z2z The best microwavable containers: https://goo.gl/AFznrH For the best seller travel pack : https://goo.gl/3mzs8R Get the best travel pack I recommend : https://goo.gl/UzkJnR ----------------------------------------------------- ഈ ചാനൽ സബ്സ്ക്രൈബ് ചെയ്യാൻ മറക്കല്ലേ.. ഇനിയും ഒരുപാട് ഫൺ സ്റ്റോക്ക് ഇരിപ്പുണ്ട്. നമുക്കു പൊളിക്കേണ്ടെ!!

Eric Rignot: Ice Sheet Systems and Sea Level Change (Sea level rise)

41:57
Scientific Discipline: Cryosphere Speaker: Eric Rignot (NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory) Abstract Modern views of ice sheets provided by satellites, airborne surveys, in situ data and paleoclimate records while transformative of glaciology have not fundamentally changed concerns about ice sheet stability and collapse that emerged in the 1970's. Motivated by the desire to learn more about ice sheets using new technologies, we stumbled on an unexplored field of science and witnessed surprising changes before realizing that most were coming too fast, soon and large. Ice sheets are integrant part of the Earth system; they interact vigorously with the atmosphere and the oceans, yet most of this interaction is not part of current global climate models. Since we have never witnessed the collapse of a marine ice sheet, observations and exploration remain critical sentinels. At present, these observations suggest that Antarctica and Greenland have been launched into a path of multi-meter sea level rise caused by rapid climate warming. While the current loss of ice sheet mass to the ocean remains a trickle, every mm of sea level change will take centuries of climate reversal to get back, several major marine-terminating sectors have been pushed out of equilibrium, and ice shelves are irremediably being lost. As glaciers retreat from their salty, warm, oceanic margins, they will melt away and retreat slower, but concerns remain about sea level change from vastly marine-based sectors: 2-m sea level equivalent in Greenland and 23-m in Antarctica. Significant changes affect 2/4 marine-based sectors in Greenland - Jakobshavn Isbræ. and the northeast stream - with Petermann Gl. not far behind. Major changes have affected the Amundsen Sea sector of West Antarctica since the 1980s. Smaller yet significant changes affect the marine-based Wilkes Land sector of East Antarctica, a reminder that not all marine-based ice is in West Antarctica. Major advances in reducing uncertainties in sea level projections will require massive, interdisciplinary efforts that are not currently in place but are getting there. Projection scenarios are overwhelmingly conservative, pushed up by observations, awaiting more detailed knowledge of ocean circulation, winds, ice-ocean interaction, and mechanics of rapid ice fracture, not to mention the mere definition of static boundaries (ice thickness and sea floor bathymetry). https://agu.confex.com/agu/fm15/meetingapp.cgi/Paper/60094 Related The John F. Jim Hansen: Hell Will Break Loose - Ice Melt, Sea Level Rise and Superstorms

15:00
The main point that I want to make concerns the threat of irreparable harm, which I feel we have not communicated well enough to people who most need to know, the public and policymakers. I’m not sure how we can do that better, but I comment on it at the end of this transcript. In response to the study outlined here, NASA launched a new operation to assess ice melt, OMG (Ocean Melting Greenland). https://omg.jpl.nasa.gov Sign up for Dr. James Hansen's email list to receive his latest communications: http://bit.ly/1UzeHI1 Subscribe to Hansen's YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCn3YhsvlaJ-UUsFyuhZA9Mw Read the study: Ice melt, sea level rise and superstorms: evidence from paleoclimate data, climate modeling, and modern observations that 2 °C global warming could be dangerous http://www.atmos-chem-phys.net/16/3761/2016/ Read the full transcript here: http://csas.ei.columbia.edu/2016/03/22/ice-melt-sea-level-rise-and-superstorms-the-threat-of-irreparable-harm/

When I'm Up (I Can't Get Down) - Great Big Sea - Lyrics ,

03:28
I am the fountain of affection I'm the instrument of joy And to keep the good times rolling I'm the boy, I'm the boy, You know the world could be our oyster, You just put your trust in me, Cause we'll keep the good times rolling Wait and see, wait and see....oh wait and see! His exhaltation, a sweet disintegration. A few discolorations, then it comes along up is why he chooses, the kisses and the bruises There ain't nothing he refuses, then it comes along It comes along, and I am lifted, I am lifted, I am lifted! [Chorus:] When I'm up I can't get down Can't get down, can't get level When I'm up I can't get down Get my feet back on the ground When I'm up I can't get down Can't get down, can't get level When I'm up I can't get down Get my feet back on the ground He just needs, something to blind him Something to wind him up It won't take long to find him When it comes on strong. Wise guys are grinning, street lights are spinning The night is just beginning, and then it comes on strong It comes on strong, and I am lifted, I am lifted, I am lifted! [Chorus] Oh it comes on strong, and I am lifted. It comes on strong, and I am lifted. I am lifted, I am lifted! [Chorus] ----- **No Copyright Infringement Intended.** -----

Comparison between a Cloud Chamber at Sea Level and in Altitude

12:01
The video shows the difference in cosmic radiation intensity at ground level at Paris, Palais de La Découverte and in altitude at 2777 m, Pic du Midi in a Phywe PJ45 cloud chamber. Dimension of the surface of the machine is 45x45 cm. There is roughly the same quantity of electronic component (the thin erratic trails made of positons and electrons) because the intensity of gamma ray at 3000 m and in sea level has the same order of magnitude (0.01 cm-2.s-1.sr-1 for E above 30MeV). The electrons and positons are produced by photoelectric effect, Compton effect or pair creation by the interaction gamma ray in matter. The wall of the cloud chamber (total 1 cm of glass) is matter where production of electronic particle can occur. There is a difference about the hadronic component (proton and neutron). There is about 10x time more proton in 3000 m than in sea level (and neutron too) so we can see many more proton interaction in the Pic du Midi 's cloud chamber than the one in Paris. Proton leave thick straight trails and when a proton (or a neutron) hit a nucleus in the matter of the cloud chamber, it can produce other protons (spallation reaction). See the other video about observation of cosmic ray in altitude. The website http://www.cloudylabs.fr will give more explanations about the nuclear events observed.
