It may not be HD.. It doesn't have the best battery life.. But the Amazon Fire 7 is definitely the best tablet you can get (for $40) so why not? It does Netflix, it has a headphone jack, what more do you want? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Not all of us can afford multi hundred dollar tablets and Apple stuff is way overpriced. Some people want a decent tablet at a decent price. Why bash it? It works, people like it, should be enough right?
I own one since 2015 and it still works fine! I see it as a gadget to expand your phone's lifetime by spending 50 bucks. Directly added google play services which give you way more options. I recently tried to root it to stock android, without success, and changing the launcher seemed to be impossible. Fortunately with an apk called Launcher Highjack I managed to apply Apex launcher (Google Now did not work). Now I have a more stock android looking tablet. Reading some articles and reviews, playing arcade games or even emulating a Nintendo Ds, no problem at all.
There is a simple work around so you can get Google Play services. Just sideload them and you can have access to google play store. I then used a hack called launcher hijack so you can download the google now launcher or use something like Nova launcher.
And these things are not very hard to do. It will take you 10 minutes and your device will look and act like a Nexus tablet.
One downside, don't download to much apps on it. That 1 GB of RAM will make your tablet really slow. Bit of you only want it for kindle, Netflix and YouTube then this device is awesome. Once you get rid of the horrible Amazon Fire UI.
I need a tab just to stream netflix, terrarium, twitch, youtube etc to my chromecast.. do yall think this will do fine? so I wont watch nothing ON the actual tablet, im wanna basically use it as a remote with a screen, I hate using my phone cause I always drop it.
actually i want to use one as a carry portfolio to show my different types of jobs. pictures of jewelery to car projects. yep would definitely use a bigger micro sd card. so who knows I just may. i've found 16GB ipads for $100 but no sd card slot. good video.
This would be good if you had some sort of dedicated purpose for a small cheap computer/tablet. I've seen tablets used for household controls like lights/thermostat/security cameras, for instance. Or, if you wanted to hack or modify a tablet, but not risk expensive hardware.
2:17 "We don't expect amazing noise cancelling audio out of these $30 tablets" How exactly is an external speaker supposed to be noise cancelling? Even the earbuds and headphones that are noise cancelling come with that feature built in and dont depend on the device they are connecting to.
I'm actually using one right now and it's *okay.* Just *okay.* Nothing more, nothing less.
One feature I really hate is the replacement for the Google Play Store. No YouTube, no Discord or anything at all.
I also hate that the system apps *take up so much space.*
My mother had one of those. She finally upgraded to a larger Kindle Fire when her older one died its final death.
Me? I use BlueStacks on my computer and I am looking for an actual Android tablet. Works very well as long as I do not have to do anything else on the (memory deficient) PC that it is on.
The problem with actual Android tablets? The OS updates. I want the latest OS... period. If there is a new major version of an OS? Give it to me and give me it within a month of release or forget about it.
my aunt's fire tablet (1st gen) still works, her primary use for is videos, facebook, online shopping, puzzle games, reading. EVERYTHING you do waiting at the Doctor's office, the airport, a flight and especially during a power outage (netflix downloads). So yes, totally worth the $
Amazon Prime .. it rocks for a nice portable entertainment center .. got one for everyone if our family (9 total) and a few for our kids guests/friends ..
.. I should also add .. if you don't want FaceBroke, Twitter, and all the other social media apps clogging up you phone or draining your phone's battery this device just rocks ..
The real cost of this table is $100 after shipping or paying for prime because you need at least the 32 gig fire HD8 for it to be Profitable. The Amazon fire would normally be hobo garbage if not for the Hannah Montana Linux that makes the Android 5 feel less outdated.
This is a unique real vampire website for vampires as well as the curious. It has valuable information for any real vampire and is based on scientific evidence. It also leads to other good websites for real vampires.
This is why I "think" Im a real vampire They have no desire to use us as lab rats or slaves. Before reading any farther on this site, This website is not made for poser vamps, close-minded people, or those who think that they are, or claim to be a vampire because they think the spirit of a vampire entered them at some time making them a vampire. We call these people posers, which they are; they are confused lost children. This site is not here for them in any way! It is for real vampires, curious people, and open-minded skeptics. The best compliment that you can give to this site, is telling all of your friends about it.
Real vampires are not pure fiction.
The Headache Paradox: It is scientifically impossible to have a headache, seeing that there are no pain receptors in the brain. Yet we continue to search for answers to what causes a headache, because we all know that headaches do exist.
Between a combination of the fact that our brains are roughly nothing more than a highly advanced mass of nerves, and that every function is controlled by signals that our brain sends through our nerves to the rest of our bodies, I think that if we could somehow make our nerves send stronger, more efficient signals at a quicker speed it would have a lot of different results. Including heightened sense (both physical and psychic) moving quicker both running and walking along with arm movement etc. The brain being just nerves would obviously also be effected, resulting in quicker more efficient thinking, which naturally would make us smarter, more observant, and have much sharper reflexes.
Some say that is an overly simplified form of how the brain functions, which it is. To them I say make the axons 12-15% wider, resulting in signals being sent much more quickly through the brain. Allowing neurons to create more connections without loss of speed, and the 10,000+ miles of blood vessels in the brain doubling as an additional cooling system for the brain. I could write a book on the cascade of effects that alone causes for people when they are changed in to a real vampire, however for now I will leave it in this simplified form.
