I'm forced to wonder if eschewing the ship for just a Technic minisub, larger and with more detail would have been more interesting. I like the look of the ship and I personally think the addition of wheels was brilliant. It could have easily been just as silly, but I love the way the ship moves forward and it looks realistic doing so. Thus ends the parts of the ship I find interesting. The crane doesn't seem at all impressive other than the controls being far away. System sets have cranes that function just as effectively. The helicopter, also, is pretty boring to me.
As for the sub, I think the way they stuffed two functions into such a small thing was nice. That's why I feel just a sub would have been better. Imagine fully controllable arms with hands that actually grip and that's where my thinking lies.
I totally get that making just a sub would mean we would not have a Technic ship and that obviously was the point of it being made. But for such a large thing, I think it's lacking.
If I get two, I would make the bridge fully covered, make it longer, upgrade the helicoptor get the cranes onto the side more, and Mabey with the extra helipad pieces make an outdoor table tennis set??? Idk don't judge
i wish they made it non technic but still some technic i know thats the tecnic line of set but it just looks good yes but the part with wheels i dont think they should have much playability in technic sets and have them more of a display model but thats just my opinion
Yay you finally did it! Glad you liked it. I now feel even better about my purchase (as yet unbuilt). My main criticism would be that there is no option to take the heli-pad assembly off the ship, so it looks more like a regular ship sometimes. But I guess that's what mods are for. Unfortunately I don't have the patience for modding...
The heli and sub are nowhere near minifig scale, they just happened to have spaces large enough to awkwardly place a minifig, and the designer offered an option to attach them. Everything in this set is closer to microfig scale.
I got this set for my Birthday in may and loved building it. Loved the minibuilds for the sub and helicopter but didn't think of trying to fit a minifig. I haven't tried the secondary build because i don't want to take the ship apart. I have it on display with the Creator mini version next to it. There is also a minifig version but that doesn't look good to me.
This is a unique real vampire website for vampires as well as the curious. It has valuable information for any real vampire and is based on scientific evidence. It also leads to other good websites for real vampires.
This is why I "think" Im a real vampire They have no desire to use us as lab rats or slaves. Before reading any farther on this site, This website is not made for poser vamps, close-minded people, or those who think that they are, or claim to be a vampire because they think the spirit of a vampire entered them at some time making them a vampire. We call these people posers, which they are; they are confused lost children. This site is not here for them in any way! It is for real vampires, curious people, and open-minded skeptics. The best compliment that you can give to this site, is telling all of your friends about it.
Real vampires are not pure fiction.
The Headache Paradox: It is scientifically impossible to have a headache, seeing that there are no pain receptors in the brain. Yet we continue to search for answers to what causes a headache, because we all know that headaches do exist.
Between a combination of the fact that our brains are roughly nothing more than a highly advanced mass of nerves, and that every function is controlled by signals that our brain sends through our nerves to the rest of our bodies, I think that if we could somehow make our nerves send stronger, more efficient signals at a quicker speed it would have a lot of different results. Including heightened sense (both physical and psychic) moving quicker both running and walking along with arm movement etc. The brain being just nerves would obviously also be effected, resulting in quicker more efficient thinking, which naturally would make us smarter, more observant, and have much sharper reflexes.
Some say that is an overly simplified form of how the brain functions, which it is. To them I say make the axons 12-15% wider, resulting in signals being sent much more quickly through the brain. Allowing neurons to create more connections without loss of speed, and the 10,000+ miles of blood vessels in the brain doubling as an additional cooling system for the brain. I could write a book on the cascade of effects that alone causes for people when they are changed in to a real vampire, however for now I will leave it in this simplified form.
