About This Video:
In this video Sean Cannell from Video Influencers interviews Evan Carmichael on Mastering Your Message, YouTube Brand Deals, and Perseverance on YouTube.
This was so helpful for me!
I particularly relate to when you're putting in the work but are not seeing the results and feel like giving up.
But when it's your passion and you really believe in it you've gotta give it more than that and not get discouraged.
This is a great interview! I've seen Evan on Tim Schmoyer's site [and in his podcast - that'd be one to recommend. :)], but this interview made me want to actually check out his channel again. I also took some notes and got some action steps for my business. Thanks to you both!
Hi guys, I'm working towards a channel launch for music production tutorials and have found your content fantastically helpful!
What i'd like to know is how do you decide what content to give away for free and what content to keep back as premium/paid content? I want to make this a business and don't want to give my best content away for free, but want to show my value and what I can do!
Thanks again, you guys are crushing it!
Thanks very much Sean! Funding is the main barrier to me starting up at the moment, maybe some tips on recording video with iPhone 6 and some sort of lav mic setup to record good audio? (Bad audio is such a video turn-off!)
+The Audio Journey Really good question... I think error on being generous and give away your best stuff! To get to your level people will need a step-by-step system and process — but you can give away pieces here and there adding tremendous value.
Side Note: Here is a webinar we did recently that might be helpful not just for growing your YouTube channel but based on your question... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l0Fqq5Ilm_k
Keep crushing it John and let me know if you need anything!
I have to pause the video.."if you were to start over again, what would you do differently?".. GREAT question!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 please asked everyone that👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 you and Benji are a great team and doing a great job!! Thank you in advance for this.😊😊😊
Evan always gives very solid counsel. I love the strategy of waiting till people come to you. If you are doing what you love and you are an expert in your field, people will start to take notice. You don't have to promote yourself so much, but you do have to be very much invovled. Thanks, Evan, and thanks Video Influencers for this interview.
I love interviews :D I have one question I'm using Samson go mic but why is it picking so much noise and volume is way high than it should be. It's super loud . I watched other YouTubers who have Samson go mic and it was so great 1000 times better than what I recorded . What am I doing wrong? Should I just use iPhone as mic ?
Thanks for the upload Sean. I love seeing new people I would not ordinarily visit their channel.
I love that Evan said , he make videos he would enjoy. So that's a great key fact. And not comparing your self to others.
Great job Video Influencers. Keep crushing it.
This is a unique real vampire website for vampires as well as the curious. It has valuable information for any real vampire and is based on scientific evidence. It also leads to other good websites for real vampires.
This is why I "think" Im a real vampire They have no desire to use us as lab rats or slaves. Before reading any farther on this site, This website is not made for poser vamps, close-minded people, or those who think that they are, or claim to be a vampire because they think the spirit of a vampire entered them at some time making them a vampire. We call these people posers, which they are; they are confused lost children. This site is not here for them in any way! It is for real vampires, curious people, and open-minded skeptics. The best compliment that you can give to this site, is telling all of your friends about it.
Real vampires are not pure fiction.
The Headache Paradox: It is scientifically impossible to have a headache, seeing that there are no pain receptors in the brain. Yet we continue to search for answers to what causes a headache, because we all know that headaches do exist.
Between a combination of the fact that our brains are roughly nothing more than a highly advanced mass of nerves, and that every function is controlled by signals that our brain sends through our nerves to the rest of our bodies, I think that if we could somehow make our nerves send stronger, more efficient signals at a quicker speed it would have a lot of different results. Including heightened sense (both physical and psychic) moving quicker both running and walking along with arm movement etc. The brain being just nerves would obviously also be effected, resulting in quicker more efficient thinking, which naturally would make us smarter, more observant, and have much sharper reflexes.
Some say that is an overly simplified form of how the brain functions, which it is. To them I say make the axons 12-15% wider, resulting in signals being sent much more quickly through the brain. Allowing neurons to create more connections without loss of speed, and the 10,000+ miles of blood vessels in the brain doubling as an additional cooling system for the brain. I could write a book on the cascade of effects that alone causes for people when they are changed in to a real vampire, however for now I will leave it in this simplified form.
