WooCommerce Excel import tutorial - learn how to upload product data from Microsoft Excel spreadsheets to WooCommerce using WP All Import and the WooCommerce add-on. Learn more about WP All Import's WooCommerce import capabilities at http://www.wpallimport.com/woocommerce-product-import
In this video, you'll specifically learn how to structure an Excel file to group product variations together into variable products and import them to WooCommerce.
If you aren't importing variable products, the WooCommerce add-on can import ANY Excel file to WordPress/WooCommerce. Just watch this video to learn how to export your Excel file to a CSV. Then upload your CSV file to WP All Import and import it.
You can map the columns in your Excel file to any "end point" in WordPress or WooCommerce. You don't need to use special column names.
Try the free version of the WooCommerce add-on for WP All Import and see how easy it is to import Excel or CSV files to WooCommerce products: https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-xml-csv-product-import/
Download example Excel/CSV fields from our website - click Documentation, then WooCommerce, then "Example XML/CSV Files". Open the CSV files in Excel and edit them as per your needs.
But why do you need to import your Excel file to WooCommerce anyway? Don't you have an inventory management system for your products that automatically exports all your stock to XML or CSV? If so, don't go through the hassle of manually creating an Excel file - just use WP All Import to import your XML or CSV file to WooCommerce directly.
Hi Softlyy, Nice plugin!
Can you please let me know how to create the uploadable excel file but that it will include, 2 products with different attributes, example: one product has color and the other has size, I'm a bit confused with this because you are using attributes as column heather.
Please let me know as well how to structure the excel uploadable file, to include simple products as well.

I agree with the comment below that this isn't close to a real import and that you have to do a lot of work, but I guess that is down to the fact that Wordpress wasn't designed to be an Ecommerce CMS. Personally, I wouldn't recommed using WP for an ecommerce website unless you only have a few products which do not need regular wholesale changes. The tutorial was fine though.
GUys what i undserstand is that if you have many products in your csv you just manually upload and set up one product and it will do others automatically??
second i HOW TO IMport products from other stores to csv or xml file?? if im dropp shipper fror example.
do you have some tool where i can import hundreds of products by clicking few buttons. ?? because it doesnt make sense if i first must add products nmanually to excell and then to the store. would be cool if i can import products from ebay amazon aliexpress (scraping crawling or parsing idk)
Hi, I have over 1000 Variable products, each product is in single row and it is in "Size 38, 40, 42, 44" format how can I set up CSV file to upload and create variable products. is there any way that I can create 4 rows for each product in excel?
Great, lovely solution! One more question, because I am a rookie, and I don't want to mess this up, I hope it's okay if I ask it here as this might help others as well in the future.
I've lost all my products in woocommerce, my bad, should've made a back up. However, fortunately I have exported a csv not too long ago, but it has some messed up structure half being english half being my language so I will be having a hard time importing all nearly 2000 products. To make it a bit easier, I am wondering: what if I upload some products manually with all the details I will need with my imports, (backorders, stock, sale price, regular price, description, name, variatons, images etc.) then export these products. Will I get the perfectly suited template for my csv, and all I have to do is to add my data accordingly then import it all? Thank you very much for your time.
when i install it on my wordpress 4.6.1, i cannot see the "All Import tab", but the plugin is activated (WP All Import - WooCommerce Add-On), please help i want to try the plugin first before purchasing it, thanks
Can I do something like this:
Create an option which add a constant amount to the final price? No matter what variation? I need something which instead of choosing a price for each individual variation will increase/decrease the final price and that I wouldn't need to calculate the price manually for each variation.
i want to customize my theme basically i want to add
1. my wordpress theme already have registration option or sign up option. but i want those who register into my website, i want to increase my form fields name like name, DOB, location, part
2. i have some products .... and i want to list at the back of my website and only and only registered user can view those products. and i don't the cart system, i just want to simply add to cart and i will get the message that one product in added in the cart and one message goes to registered user.
can i able to do in this ?
You state "... images are already on the server ..." Ah:
(a) WHERE on the server?
(b) How did you upload them? (and was that one by one or all at once?)
(c) What if they are NOT on the server? How do you reference them / point to another location?
+Geoff L Import Images to Wordpress Media Library seems to be a Pro feature, available in only Paid version. Soflyy has already posted link to video demonstrating how to use that feature. But as I understood, it's NOT available in Free version.
At the top of the "General" tab inside the WooCommerce add-on there is a field called SKU.
Simply drag & drop the field containing the SKU from your file into the box called SKU.
Or e-mail [email protected] and we can help you in more detail.
+Soflyy Do you think you could be more specific on how to add SKU's to variation sets? For example I have a shoe store that has color/size variations. Although there is a field for variable_sku on each variation set in WooCommerce I do not have the option with the Soflyy WooCommerce add-on to populate that field.
This is a unique real vampire website for vampires as well as the curious. It has valuable information for any real vampire and is based on scientific evidence. It also leads to other good websites for real vampires.
This is why I "think" Im a real vampire They have no desire to use us as lab rats or slaves. Before reading any farther on this site, This website is not made for poser vamps, close-minded people, or those who think that they are, or claim to be a vampire because they think the spirit of a vampire entered them at some time making them a vampire. We call these people posers, which they are; they are confused lost children. This site is not here for them in any way! It is for real vampires, curious people, and open-minded skeptics. The best compliment that you can give to this site, is telling all of your friends about it.
Real vampires are not pure fiction.
The Headache Paradox: It is scientifically impossible to have a headache, seeing that there are no pain receptors in the brain. Yet we continue to search for answers to what causes a headache, because we all know that headaches do exist.
Between a combination of the fact that our brains are roughly nothing more than a highly advanced mass of nerves, and that every function is controlled by signals that our brain sends through our nerves to the rest of our bodies, I think that if we could somehow make our nerves send stronger, more efficient signals at a quicker speed it would have a lot of different results. Including heightened sense (both physical and psychic) moving quicker both running and walking along with arm movement etc. The brain being just nerves would obviously also be effected, resulting in quicker more efficient thinking, which naturally would make us smarter, more observant, and have much sharper reflexes.
Some say that is an overly simplified form of how the brain functions, which it is. To them I say make the axons 12-15% wider, resulting in signals being sent much more quickly through the brain. Allowing neurons to create more connections without loss of speed, and the 10,000+ miles of blood vessels in the brain doubling as an additional cooling system for the brain. I could write a book on the cascade of effects that alone causes for people when they are changed in to a real vampire, however for now I will leave it in this simplified form.
