@Audrey: I would really love to see a video on 2019 spring capsule! I really need your help!!!! You’re style is absolutely fabulous and I would love to learn how pair items together! Thank you for all your videos ;)
Hello Audrey and friends! I wanted to share a recent find of mine...an alternative to the Vanelli Aliz slingback you show in this video. I was going to buy a pair of those, but changed my mind when I read comments about the fabric that covers the toe area getting disheveled very quickly and/or the material that covers the heel shrinking and peeling off. (Have you found this to be true?) Well, I found a pair of *Sam Edelman* shoes in a similar style (and price point) and I'm ADORING them! They are beige with a black captoe, but instead of being slingbacks, they have a solid heel cup and cut-out sides. The upper is all leather, which I hope prove longer lasting than fabric, and they are extremely comfortable. The style is called *Leah Cap Toe* if anyone reading this would like to search for them. I think I might like these (I'm wearing them right now!) a little bit better than the ones by Vanelli because I feel the full heel cup makes them more conservative, which I prefer for my work environment. They are still plenty airy, in my opinion, and very much Chanel-esque! Also, I think this style would be a good choice for people who avoid slingbacks, which are notorious for not providing enough stability to the back of the foot. Hopefully my find can help someone else fall in love with a new fave!
I'm so happy that I discovered YouTube recently. I am so glad to have found you on here. I just adore you and I appreciate everything that you share. I could just listen to you talk all of the time. You're so sweet and kind and beautiful and stylish! I can't wait to to watch every single one of your videos and to keep up with you. I've already tried a couple of your recommendations and I couldn't be more impressed. Thank you, thank you! :)
Hi Audrey, I really enjoyed this video. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful and well thought out wardrobe. It was nice to see your capsule and I'd be really interested in seeing your complete wardrobe in another video -- or in a series of videos. I would find it really interesting to see what you have in totality and maybe others would enjoy seeing it too if you'd be interested in doing something like that.
Flora thank you! That’s right :) they didn’t make the cut this season because I’m still testing out what I love to wear them with and I want to squeeze out the last few months of my white sneakers because they feel a tad too summery for me personally.
I have a feeling they’ll be a staple in my winter capsule
Ana R thank you so much! I don’t have an in-depth review of the boots but I can absolutely do one! In the meantime, I love them and have been very happy with them. They’re well-made, comfortable and go with everything. My only word of caution would be to try them on before you buy if your foot runs wide because they are very narrow in the toe
Could you make a video on style and capsule wardrobes WITHOUT the color black? Though it goes with everything, so does gray and navy! I like to look polished, but I also hate contributing to the all wearing black crowd everywhere you go during winter.
Loved this video. My sense of style was always good, but my buying style was "what's on hand or on sale". Since I am reclaiming my once misused body (fancy words for diet and exercise lol), I am making do with the craptastic wardrobe I have at the moment. I have treated myself to a fantastic trench coat in a smaller size that is my motivation to continue on my journey, but that is about it for now. I very much look forward to curating a wardrobe that is as awesome as yours and thank you for helping me know how to do that. Great inspiration (and motivation) to treat my body with the attention that it deserves.
You have excellent taste and massive self control! I love shoes too, I reeaally love shoes to the point of addiction. I live in Northern Ohio and I have capsule wardrobes for my shoes, spring/summer and fall/winter. Then I have a capsule for my winter boots. My only excuse is I only buy when they're on sale. How do you not go overboard living in a warm climate?
It's so helpful to see these capsule videos. This may sound critical but it's meant to be constructive as I really am not the fashion police. Are the brown/orange sweaters the best color for you? Would that color be better if used in bottoms rather than close to your face? Just a thought.
I so look forward to Sundays in anticipation of another one of your videos! Since I’ve subscribed to your channel, I’ve simplified my closet and donated three large bags of clothes to charity. Thanks for the inspiration and great style!
As always your style is classic, your presentation delightful and your content darlingly professional and so well put together. I have watched your channel grow over the past months and so thrilled that you are closing in on 100K...WOW sweetie...well done....... I have purchased an Everlane cotton sweater and Grana cashmere sweater in the colors your suggested as a result of seeing how they look and work for you....love everything you do sweet girl...Hugs..
Great job, as always, Audrey! I’ve always loved clothes and fashion, but you inspire me to take it to the next level. I’ve also never really leaned toward a capsule wardrobe but I’m considering it now! You’ve also got me reading labels and going for natural fabrics like wool and silk, linen, etc. Thanks for the inspiration.
WOW❣Impressive❣ I can't believe your whole seasonal wardrobe is this small! You always look so put-together! Though i've seen it, how in the world do you do it? Please enlighten me as to the process of picking what goes into it, and how you throw the rest out !? (If you do😶.) 💗💞💖
Audrey, you did such an awesome job editing this video! I love all of your pieces. Your chasmere sweaters and brown/mustard jackets are 😍😍 I love the color story. I'm really into olive green, mustard, maroon and denim this fall.
Have you thought about your winter wardrobe? I feel like this year in my country we didn't have fall and we went from summer to winter in a few days. I really wanna know how you're planning it so maybe I can incorporate some things in mine too!!!
Could you do a segment on laundry frequency, and how you keep enough clean to have something to wear? I can’t imagine getting by on just a couple pairs of jeans such a small number of tops - everything i wanted to wear would be in the laundry!
Items made up of natural fibers (like wool, cashmere, silk, etc) do not need to washed frequently at all (I get them dry-cleaned maybe 1-2 times a season). I would recommend undershirts to keep them clean longer (and to keep you warmer) :) Undershirts also help with button-ups, etc. As far as jeans go, I would also not recommend washing them too frequently - it wears them down. Sounds weird but placing your jeans in the freezer for a day or two helps kill bacteria, if you're worried about that.
Hi, for me the jeans weren't the problem. Mostly I wear them for a long time before I wash them. Therefore you can check out a video from Verena Erin, my green closet is the name of her channel. But I need more than two white shirts or blouses to fill ja washing maschine. Though I have a husband anderen two Kids, in autumn it takes two weeks to have a load of white clothes....
Hi, Audrey. Beautiful and elegant, as always! Thank you for sharing. So excited that you'll be sharing the outfits as well. Looking forward. The rapid-fire blinking images of shoes, however, almost gave me a seizure x) Your shoe collection is so beautiful that I could stare at it for 20 minutes straight without any editing effects ;) Have a beautiful week!
Hi Audrey! Love you videos and style. I was wondering, how many outfits this capsule would create? I tend to wear the same thing every week and am looking for ideals of pieces that would give me a lot of variety, so that I can get almost 30 outfits. Thank you!!
With just the four pairs of pants and five sweaters she has twenty outfit combinations, though of course not necessarily all of those would probably be paired together. I could easily see 50 or 60 outfits coming out of this collection, especially with her relatively large outerwear, shoe, and scarf sections!
Love that fur jacket! I can’t figure out what size to get. Can you tell me what size you got please? Did you get it so that it fits you snug or a bit loose? Thanks for this video! I am definitely not a minimalist but I can get enough of these videos. I feel it is helping me hone in on what I really love the most. So helpful and honestly I just love watching your videos. You have such a lovely calm demeanor and make everything appear so seamless and easy! Can’t wait to see the weekly outfits. You have a beautiful easy style! 😍
This is a unique real vampire website for vampires as well as the curious. It has valuable information for any real vampire and is based on scientific evidence. It also leads to other good websites for real vampires.
This is why I "think" Im a real vampire They have no desire to use us as lab rats or slaves. Before reading any farther on this site, This website is not made for poser vamps, close-minded people, or those who think that they are, or claim to be a vampire because they think the spirit of a vampire entered them at some time making them a vampire. We call these people posers, which they are; they are confused lost children. This site is not here for them in any way! It is for real vampires, curious people, and open-minded skeptics. The best compliment that you can give to this site, is telling all of your friends about it.
Real vampires are not pure fiction.
The Headache Paradox: It is scientifically impossible to have a headache, seeing that there are no pain receptors in the brain. Yet we continue to search for answers to what causes a headache, because we all know that headaches do exist.
Between a combination of the fact that our brains are roughly nothing more than a highly advanced mass of nerves, and that every function is controlled by signals that our brain sends through our nerves to the rest of our bodies, I think that if we could somehow make our nerves send stronger, more efficient signals at a quicker speed it would have a lot of different results. Including heightened sense (both physical and psychic) moving quicker both running and walking along with arm movement etc. The brain being just nerves would obviously also be effected, resulting in quicker more efficient thinking, which naturally would make us smarter, more observant, and have much sharper reflexes.
Some say that is an overly simplified form of how the brain functions, which it is. To them I say make the axons 12-15% wider, resulting in signals being sent much more quickly through the brain. Allowing neurons to create more connections without loss of speed, and the 10,000+ miles of blood vessels in the brain doubling as an additional cooling system for the brain. I could write a book on the cascade of effects that alone causes for people when they are changed in to a real vampire, however for now I will leave it in this simplified form.
