Add Product Variations and Color or Image Swatches in WooCommerce

39 ratings | 10642 views
We will add a product with 4 different color variations. Initially we will use only the product variation handling that ships with WooCommerce. We will demonstrate how the product variations work within WooCommerce. Secondly, we will add the Variation Swatches and Photos plugin so we can add a color swatch customers can use to select product colors of their choice. You will often see these at large retailer sites. You can now have color swatches on your site. The Variations Color Swatches & Photos plugin is only $10. You can get it here: https://pluginforage.com/shop/products/woocommerce-variation-swatches-and-photos-extension/ Visit https://PluginForage.com for Premium WooCommerce, WordPress Plugins & Themes for only $10/ea. of Free With Membership Visit http://SkeeterZ71.com for Free Video Tutorials about Web & Graphic Design.

What headers would I use in a Product CSV file for adding products in bulk?

Thanks Skitter! Is this the same as your other plugin? We're looking into that and others. Thanks so much for your great vids and solutions

I am looking for this solution but have a question: I have many products, each having about 25-35 different prints (swatches) so I would add images instead of color. Is there a limit in space or capacity to having 34 swatches? Thanks so much for your videos! I subscribed :-)

No, I have used up to 245 colors.
+Suuz Martines Another solution you may want to look at is the Additional Variation Images plugin https://pluginforage.com/shop/woocommerce-extensions/woocommerce-additional-variation-images-extensions/
+Suuz Martines I believe WooCommerce has a 50 variations limit. You would be allowed to add swatches or photos for each variation

Hi! can I put the swatches as category's on a store side menu?
I don't think so. These are product swatches and not category swatches.

Quick question..do u know how to make it possible for my variations to change on my site when a customer chooses a color and a size?. Right now when i try to change the color fro black to white or size from S to XL, it doesnt change...the site is michaellippett.com/shop
Rejji Fubara (2 years ago)
thank you for your help
Glad you were able to resolve the issue.
Rejji Fubara (2 years ago)
I went ahead and changed the theme and  the problem is gone for now
I really don't know what the issue would be. Possibly the variations, e.g. size and color are not configured correctly on the backend. I wish you luck tracking down the cause.

the image changes just fine, its the actual form area itself that doesnt reflect what was chosen
