Milling product brochures are available for download at http://www.mitsubishicarbide.com/mmus/en/product/catalog/cutter.html Mitsubishi ASX445 Series face mills and inserts may soon become your default go to 45 degree milling solution. ASX445 cutters and inserts are designed to perform rough to finish face milling in a variety of materials. Quality and long term customer satisfaction was paramount in the ASX445 design criteria, so ASX mills feature replaceable carbide insert seats. ASX insert seats helps minimize pocket wear and are easily replaced in the event of an accident that would render cutters without insert seats useless. In addition to carbide seats, the ASX445 legendary accuracy and stable cutting performance is due in part to the Accurate Secure & Xtreme -ASX- pocket design. The ASX pocket design incorporates Mitsubishi's Anti-Fly-Insert (A.F.I.) technology for secure insert retention and stable machining at depth of cuts up to .236". Five 3D insert breaker options JL, JM, JH & FT for Steel/ Stainless Steel and polished JP for Aluminum/Non Ferrous materials provide the teeth to machine a wide varaiety of materials. Breaker options are supported by World renowed Carbide & Cermet substrates topped off with the latest CVD and PVD coating technologies. When Extreme surface finishes are required Cermet, Carbide, CBN or Diamond wipers are at the ready. If your milling operations need to be improved or you need a cutter and inserts capable of doing more with less, give your local Mitsubishi District Manager a call and schedule Face Time to discuss applications options. Do not forget to ask your Mitsubishi District Manager about the other ASX445 design secrets!
